The American Dream continues...

In my previous post I spoke of a family that needed a home. They were getting no where as investors were beating them out left and right. As Real Estate agents we influence our sellers to take the cash offer. At the end of the day, a loan or cash all spends the same, the difference is what we do. Do we give the home to a family or investor? As investors buy up properties there is nothing left for true families.We are crushing the dream of owning a home for first time buyers.I know as a listing agent I will look all the offers with my seller. Given the chance I will advise my seller to take a family offer over an investor to keep the American Dream of owning a home alive. My hope is that other Agents will do the same.
